Onport makes it possible to reduce the number of items imported from an inventory feed by defining a set of tags that determine whether an item is included or excluded.

This approach is supported across multiple vendor platforms that support tags.

HOW TO TAG ITEMS FROM A VENDOR STORE

Shopify

The vendor can enter the Product editor from the Products link in the left vertical navigation, select a product to be edited and add a tag as shown in the link below.

After doing so, it's necessary to click the Save button in order to apply the change.

WooCommerce

The vendor is invited to access the Product editor from the Products > All products link in the left vertical navigation, select a product to be edited and add a tag as shown in the link below.

Prestashop

In order to apply a tag, the vendor is invited to click Catalog > Products from the left vertical navigation and select a product to be edited.

After doing so, the Options tab should be clicked and one or more tags added by using , as a separator.

HOW TO SET THIS UP IN ONPORT

From within the inventory feed settings, you can navigate to the Publishing tab and associate the tags your vendor added to the products you want to include or exclude from the feed:
